THE FLATS – Georgia Tech football will host Bowling Green for a non-conference game at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Sept. 29, 2018, senior associate athletics director John David Wicker announced on Friday.
The contest will be the first-ever between the Yellow Jackets and Falcons.
In addition to the matchup versus Bowling Green, Georgia Tech also announced several changes to its future football schedules on Friday.
The Jackets’ home-and-home series with USF, originally scheduled for 2021 and 2022, has been moved up three years to 2018 and 2019. Georgia Tech will travel to Tampa, Fla. to face USF on Sept. 8, 2018 and host the Bulls on Sept. 7, 2019.
After facing USF in 2018 and 2019, Tech’s next matchup versus Notre Dame, which was originally scheduled to be played in 2019, has been moved to Nov. 14, 2020.
Finally, the 2018 game between Georgia Tech and Tulane has been cancelled and the status of the 2019 Tech-Tulane contest is to be determined.
