Georgia Tech Volleyball Entertains Florida in Matches Saturday

March 29, 2006

The Georgia Tech volleyball team returns to the gym Saturday hosting the University of Florida in two scrimmages in O’Keefe Gymnasium. The Yellow Jackets will take on the Gators in a match at 10 a.m. followed by a 3:30 p.m. meeting.

“Our team is looking forward to our spring matches against Florida,” said head coach Bond Shymansky. “We have a great competitive series with them every spring and I know that our players love to test their skills against another top-notch team like Florida. It’s important that our young players continue to understand the level we need to acheive to continue to be one of the top programs in the nation”

This is the second of three spring scrimmages the Yellow Jackets will host this year and admission is free.
