SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Brandon Lasater, Shawn Roberts and Julienne McKee competed at the 2014 USATF Outdoor Championships at Hornet Stadium on the campus of Sacramento State.
A junior from Perry, Ga., Lasater finished 24th in the 800 meters preliminaries and fifth in his heat in a time of1:50.20. Roberts, a senior competing in his last meet in a Georgia Tech jersey, crossed the line next in 1:50.23 for 25th place and sixth in his heat. The top three in each heat plus the next four best times qualified for the semi-final round.
McKee competed in her signature event – the triple jump – for her last go around in a Georgia Tech uniform. She finished 12th with a distance of 12.89m (42-3.50).
