May 2, 2013

THE FLATS – Due to the forecast of inclement weather this weekend in Atlanta, the baseball series between No. 23 Georgia Tech and Coastal Carolina at Russ Chandler Stadium has been adjusted. The teams will now play a doubleheader Friday beginning at 2 p.m, while Saturday’s game tentatively remains at 6 p.m.

An announcement on Saturday’s game time will be made on Friday. All three games of the Coastal Carolina series will air live on ESPN3.

Those holding tickets to Sunday’s originally-scheduled game may exchange them at the Russ Chandler Stadium Ticket Office for use on Friday or Saturday, or at any remaining home game, based on availability.

Friday’s game will mark the fifth time this season that Tech has been forced to play a doubleheader due to inclement weather.

Game 1: Friday, 2 p.m. / ESPN3
Game 2: Friday, 6 p.m. / ESPN3
Game 3 Saturday, 6 p.m. (tentative) / ESPN3
