Gailey Announces Staff Changes

Jan. 17, 2006

ATLANTA–Georgia Tech head coach Chan Gailey has announced two changes to the Yellow Jacket football staff for 2006.

Special teams coach and recruiting coordinator David Wilson has resigned after four seasons at Tech to pursue opportunities in private business.

Tight ends coach Tommie Robinson, a member of the Tech staff since 2002, has resigned to pursue other coaching positions.

“We appreciate the contributions of David Wilson and Tommie Robinson the last four years,” said Gailey. “They have been a big part of four winning seasons and four bowl games.”

Gailey said that he did not expect to fill either position until after the national signing day on Feb. 1.
