July 8, 2005

ATLANTA – The 2005 Atlantic Coast Conference Softball Championship game between Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech will re-air on Friday night at 8 p.m. on Fox Sports Net South. Fans can rekindle the Yellow Jackets second ACC title in the past four seasons.

FSN South is broadcasting all the ACC and Southeastern Conference Championships through July and into the first part of August. Tech fans can catch the Yellow Jacket baseball team win an ACC crown against Virginia on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.

The Jackets finished the softball season 51-14, one win shy of tying the school record for victories in a season. Tech ended the season ranked No. 17 in the USA Today/NFCA Top 25 Poll, the highest final ranking in program history, and led the nation with a school record 159 stolen bases.
