Friday's Baseball Game Postponed Due to Rain

ATLANTA – The opening game of the Georgia Tech baseball series against Rutgers has been postponed to Saturday, with the Yellow Jackets and Scarlet Knights scheduled to play a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.

Deck McGuire will take the mound for the Jackets in the 1 p.m. game, and Zach Von Tersch will start the second game of the day, which is scheduled to begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game. Sunday’s finale is still scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

Both of Saturday’s nine-inning games can be heard on WREK Radio (91.1 FM in Atlanta/www.wrek.org), while Sunday’s contest will be available on the WREK-HD2 channel. Live stats for all Tech baseball games are available at Ramblinwreck.com.
