Football Picked 10th In Preseason Polls By Sporting News And CBS Sportsline

ATLANTA – With a successful 2008 season in the books, the Georgia Tech Football team has been ranked 10th in the 2009 preseason poll by both Sporting News Magazine and CBSSportsline.com.

The 2008 Yellow Jackets, projected to go 3-9 by some publications and picked fourth in the ACC Coastal Division, went 9-4 and earned a berth in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. The Jackets finished 14th in the final BCS standings and were ranked 22nd in both the final Associated Press and USA Today Polls.
