Final Round of Brickyard Collegiate Rained Out

Macon, Ga. – The final round of the Brickyard Collegiate golf tournament was rained out Monday, leaving the Yellow Jackets in 12th place for the event that was shortened to 36 holes.

Junior John-Tyler Griffin, who shot rounds of 69 and 70, finished in second place individually at 5-under-par 139 for his second straight top-10 finish and his third top-20 showing this year. Sophomore James White, who like Griffin played as an individual, tied for 15th place at even-par 144 after rounds of 71 and 73.

Freshman Bo Andrews was the top finisher among the five players who counted toward Tech’s team score, tying for 21st place at 1-over-par 146.

Tech returns to action Oct. 25-26 at the UNCG Bridgestone Intercollegiate in Greensboro, N.C.
