WORKING AT DIFFERENT POSITIONS

Junior second baseman Jacob Esch has been working a lot with the pitchers during fall practice. During the 2010 season, Esch started 59 games at second base and did not appear in any games on the mound. He pitched during his freshman season in 2009.

With limited depth behind the plate, freshman shortstop/third baseman Alex Cruz has put on the catchers gear this fall in addition to playing at third base.

JACKETS EARN ACC TEAM SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD
