THE FLATS – With the full team now on campus and just 82 days remaining before the Yellow Jackets kick off the season versus Tennessee at brand-new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta, excitement continues to build around 2017 Georgia Tech football season tickets.
Season-ticket sales remain on pace for a six-year high, which all but ensures that the only way to access seats in Georgia Tech’s allotment for the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game against Tennessee on Labor Day night (Sept. 4) is to purchase season tickets.
In addition to the season opener versus UT, Georgia Tech’s seven-game season-ticket package also includes highly anticipated games at Bobby Dodd Stadium against longtime ACC foes North Carolina and Virginia Tech and the 112th installment of Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate versus archrival Georgia. All seven opponents that the Yellow Jackets face in Atlanta this season advanced to postseason play a year ago.
Georgia Tech season tickets, which begin at just $300 per seat, are also one of college football’s biggest values, as the cheapest tickets for the Jackets’ showdowns with Tennessee and Georgia alone are selling for a total of $280 on the secondary market – just $20 less than what a full seven-game package costs when purchasing directly from the GT ticket office.
