CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Correy Earls, a redshirt freshman from Macon, Ga., will remain at the University of Virginia Medical Center overnight for observation, assistant director of athletics for media relations Dean Buchan said Saturday.

Initial results came back negative on Earls, who appeared to have been injured on a play late in the fourth quarter of Tech’s 28-25 loss to Virginia.
