Dyke Named to Football GTE Academic All-America Team

ATLANTA (Dec. 7) – Georgia Tech sophomore punter Dan Dyke (Winter Springs, Fla.) was named to the GTE Academic All-America first team on Tuesday as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Dyke, who maintains a perfect 4.0 grade point average in Aerospace Engineering, averages 43.8 yards per punt. Academic All-America selections must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and be a starter or key reserve.
