CARSON, Calif. – Junior Brandy Depland finished 19th in the women’s triple jump with a mark of 40 feet, 11 1/2 inches, to lead Georgia Tech at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Sunday.

Former men’s track standout David Krummenacker (1994, ’96-98) tallied a second-place finish with a time of 1:46.80 in the men’s 800 meters to qualify for the IAAF World Championships, in Helsinki, Finland, August 6-14.

He will join former women’s track star Chaunte Howard (high jump), who turned professional earlier this summer after her junior season.
