Day 1 Of USF Wilson-DeMarini Tournament Rained Out

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The entire first day of the USF Wilson-DeMarini Tournament has been rained out. The No. 13/14 Yellow Jackets were supposed to play Long Island at 12:30 p.m. and No. 3/5 Florida at 4 p.m. Both teams were warmed up when play was halted just before 12:30 p.m. as a line of heavy rain and wind began to move through the Tampa Bay area.

Tournament officials are currently working on a revised schedule for the rest of the weekend and it will be posted on www.RamblinWreck.com when available. In addition to LIU and Florida, South Florida, Illinois State, East Carolina, Canisius and Florida Gulf Coast are also participating in the tournament.
