Feb. 6, 2009
ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech baseball team begins the 2009 season Friday, Feb. 20 when it opens a three-game series with Lipscomb. Every day, leading up to the first pitch, a different member of the 2009 squad will check in with their thoughts on the upcoming season. Today’s blog is by redshirt freshman Matt Simonds.
Hey Jackets fans!
Last year, I read the blogs pretty consistently and honestly, got kind of bored with how similar each blog was. Well, I have come to the rescue with my own remedy to this problem. Instead of telling you about how cold it was at practice, which it was, or about how Taylor Wood got drilled (again), I am simply going to provide one word that describes each member of our team. Or maybe a couple of words – but I can cheat since it is my blog and I can do whatever I want. Hopefully everyone can learn something you didn’t know about each player!
To my teammates: I write this with all due respect. And I mean with all due respect. Which means I can say whatever I want, right?
