THE FLATS – To help kick-off the holiday season, Georgia Tech women’s basketball will host a canned food drive on Sunday during its game versus Georgia State. The canned food drive will benefit Meals on Wheels Atlanta. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m. in McCamish Pavilion.
Items that are requested include:
- Canned Proteins (tuna, chicken or sardines);
- Milk (shelf stable, soy, almond, etc.);
- Beverages (jug of juice, 6-pack juice, decaf tea);
- Canned fruits, peanut butter & jelly snack items;
- Rice or quinoa.
Barrels will be stationed at the entrances for donations. Patrons that contribute to the drive will receive $2 off their ticket price. For fans that purchased tickets in advance, visit the ticket office on Sunday to receive your discount.
Coming off a win over Mercer on Tuesday night, Georgia Tech looks to continue its success in this two-game homestand on Sunday. All the action will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
