Baseball Welcomes Third-Ranked 2022 Class, 21 Newcomers

Full 2022 Fall Roster

THE FLATS – Highlighted by 11 players ranked in the top 10 for their state, Georgia Tech baseball announced its 2022 signing class, rated as the No. 3 recruiting class in the country by Perfect Game. The Yellow Jackets’ third-ranked class is their highest-ranked class in Perfect Game’s history and the highest-rated signing class in the Atlantic Coast Conference this year.

Georgia Tech has now signed top-5 classes in two of the last four years, top-10 classes in three of the last four years, and four-straight top-20 recruiting classes, leading the Atlantic Coast Conference in all categories.

Already a lauded recruiting class, Collegiate Baseball also ranked the group as the No. 5 class in the country, topping the ACC.

Bolstering the 16 talented freshmen this season will be five transfers – Terry Busse, Drew Byers, Angelo DiSpigna and Nathan Smith.
