THE FLATS – Highlighted by 11 freshmen ranked in the top 10 for their state and 12 transfers, Georgia Tech baseball announced its 2023 newcomers on Tuesday. The group of true freshmen enter as a highly touted class, having been ranked as high as the No. 5 recruiting class in the country by Perfect Game and Baseball America.
Georgia Tech has now signed top-5 classes in three of the last five years, top-10 classes in four of the last five years, and five-straight top-20 Perfect Game recruiting classes, leading the Atlantic Coast Conference in all categories.
In addition to the nationally ranked freshman class, the Jackets’ roster is also bolstered by 12 transfers, bringing the total number of newcomers to 26 for the 2023-24 year.
