Baseball Readies for First Fall Exhibition

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech baseball will play host to Jacksonville State for the first of its two fall exhibitions on Sunday, Oct. 23 at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium. The Yellow Jackets and Gamecocks will play a predetermined 14-inning game beginning at 1 p.m.

The exhibition will be fans’ first chance to catch the reloaded Georgia Tech roster that features veterans and the No. 3 recruiting class in the country, according to Perfect Game, in addition to five transfers. The Yellow Jackets’ third-ranked class is their highest-ranked class in Perfect Game’s history and the highest-rated signing class in the Atlantic Coast Conference this year.

Fall exhibitions will be open and free to the public at Mac Nease Baseball Park. There will not be concessions available during each contest, but fans are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks.

Parking will be available in Klaus Parking Deck, located directly adjacent to the stadium.
