Baker Parker Global Executive Search to Serve as Consultant in Tech Search

ATLANTA–The Georgia Institute of Technology has retained an executive search firm to serve as a consultant in the Institute’s search for a new Director of Athletics, President Dr. Wayne Clough announced Friday.

The firm of Baker Parker Global Executive Search will provide consulting services to the Tech search committee, which is chaired by Clough and also consists of Dan Schrage, Faculty Representative for Athletics; Joe Irwin, President of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association; Chuck Easley, former Tech football standout and current member of the Athletic Association Board of Trustees; and David Andersen, President of the Student Government Association.

Dave Braine, Tech’s Director of Athletics since 1997, announced this week that he is retiring due to health reasons.
