LF Marlon Byrd (.333) went 2-for-5 with a double, ahomer, five RBI and a strikeout. 1B Mark Teixeira (.214) was2-for-5 including a solo home run. C Jason Varitek (.167)went 1-for-4 including a solo home run.

In The Minors:

LF Brandon Boggs went 1-for-4 with a walk. RHP KevinCameron took the loss in relief as Tacoma scored five runs inthe top of the seventh to beat Sacramento 9-4 in a rain-shortenedgame. His line: (L,0-1) 0.2 IP, 1 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 1 SO. 2BMichael Fisher was 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout.
