CF Marlon Byrd (.284) went 3-for-4 with a double and asolo home run. Tyler Greene entered the game in the top of the ninthinning to play third base. C Jason Varitek (.240) was2-for-4 with an RBI. C Matt Wieters (.235) went 1-for-4 with a strikeout.

In The Minors:

CF Charlie Blackmon (.297) extended his hitting streak to fivegames while going 1-for-4 with a walk. DH Brandon Boggs (.272) went 0-for-3 with a walk and twostrikeouts. 2B/3B Michael Fisher (.215) was 1-for-4. 1B Jeff Kindel (.277) went 2-for-5. RHP Andy Mitchellgot the win as Norfolk beat Lehigh Valley 6-1.
