ATLANTA – Georgia Tech senior Cameron Tringale was named to the PING All-American First Team Saturday by the Golf Coaches Association of America following the NCAA Division I Championship.

Tringale, from Laguna Niguel, Calif., became the 17th first-team All-American in Georgia Tech history and first since Roberto Castro in 2005. He was named an All-American for the third time in his career, having made the second team in both 2006 and 2007.

A four-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference honoree in his career, Tringale finished the year ranked No. 4 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index, was a finalist for the Byron Nelson Award and a semifinalist for the Ben Hogan Award.
