Jackets Take On Pepsi Florida Relays

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech track and field heads to Gainesville, Fla. to take on the Pepsi Florida Relays from Thursday, March 30 to Saturday, April 1.

Live video of competition on Friday and Saturday is available on SEC Network+. The broadcast on Friday runs from 12:10 – 4:10 p.m. and Saturday from 2:35 – 7:10 p.m.

Thursday evening’s competition features the men’s and women’s 5000m. The rest of the individual running events start at 12:15 p.m. with the women’s 100m hurdles and men’s 100m dash. The field events are slated for 3 p.m. with the women’s pole vault. Saturday’s events kick off with the shuttle hurdle at 12 p.m. and the men’s pole vault at 1 p.m.

Last weekend, the Jackets split up, sending seven to the Raleigh Relays while the rest of the team competed at the FSU Relays. The squad registered a total of 21 career bests and seven top-three finishes over the two meets. Junior Marinice Bauman scored a first-place finish in the 400m hurdles with a career-best time for the Jackets.
