Johnson Leads Tech on Day One of NCAA East Region Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Freshman Mario Johnson finished 20th in the men’s 400-meter intermediate hurdles with a time of 52.72 to lead the Georgia Tech men’s track and field team on day one of the NCAA East Regiona Championships on Friday.

Freshman Juan Cave and sophomore Jerome Miller will compete in the men’s high jump for the Jackets on Saturday. The top five from each event qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
