THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech men’s track and field team broke into the Top 25 in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll coming in at No. 23 this week.

Tech jumped 19 spots from a No. 42 ranking to 23rd as six Yellow Jackets rank in the top 50 in eight individual events to contribute to the overall team ranking.

Three 800m runners in Brandon Lasater, Shawn Roberts and Zack Fanelty are ranked in the top 50. Lasater is ranked No. 4 in the nation in the 800m with a time of 1:47.19, and he is No. 41 in the 1500m (3:44.50).
