Goodlett, Fever Win WNBA Title

THE FLATS – Sasha Goodlett became the first former Yellow Jacket to win a WNBA title when the Indiana Fever defeated the Minnesota Lynx in the 2012 WNBA Finals.

Goodlett, a 2012 Georgia Tech graduate and 2012 Second Team All-ACC selection, was selected in the first round, 11th overall, by Indiana in the 2012 WNBA Draft. She is the second Yellow Jacket to be drafted in the first round of the WNBA Draft, following Alex Montgomery in 2011.

Goodlett graduated from Georgia Tech ranking in the Yellow Jacket career top 10 in points scored (1,364), rebounds (760), blocked shots (127) and games played (134).

Goodlett played in 26 games as a rookie for Indiana, averaging 3.1 points per game and 1.6 rebounds per game.
