THE FLATS – Georgia Tech football’s annual spring game will be held on Friday, April 20 at Bobby Dodd Stadium, Georgia Tech athletics announced on Monday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
Admission to the spring game is free. Details on parking and special events surrounding the annual intrasquad scrimmage, which wraps up the Yellow Jackets’ spring practice season, will be finalized and announced in the coming weeks.
This marks the second-straight year that Georgia Tech’s spring game will be played under the lights at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Last year, a crowd of 7,500 saw the Gold team beat the White, 21-16, on the strength of a 61-yard touchdown pass with 1:32 remaining in the contest.
2018 Georgia Tech football season tickets go on sale on THURSDAY (Feb. 22). In addition to being guaranteed the best seats for all six home games at Bobby Dodd Stadium this season, including ACC contests versus Clemson (Sept. 22), Duke (Oct. 13), Miami (Nov. 10) and Virginia (Nov. 17) – all teams that earned bowl berths in 2017 – season-ticket holders will receive a long list of exclusive benefits. Season-ticket holder benefits include discounts on concessions, a limited-edition adidas shirt for each ticket purchased and a special Georgia Tech water bottle that can be brought into the stadium and refilled at new water-bottle filling stations.
