QUOTEBOARD
“We got out of the gate early again. Jake Lee was good, he just ran out of gas. Micah Carpenter came up with a big strikeout when we needed it with the bases loaded. And then (Matthew) Gorst hung in there in the 9th. It wasn’t pretty, but he got the job done. It’s a big series win for us. With the way we lost Friday and to come back with two straight wins, I’m very proud of this team.” – Georgia Tech head coach Danny Hall on the Jackets’ series win
