Homza Named ACC Men's Diver Of The Week

Oct. 8, 2014

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech sophomore Brad Homza picked up his first career Atlantic Coast Conference weekly award, being named the conference’s Men’s Diver of the Week on Tuesday.

The honor comes after the Austin, Texas native swept all four individual events this past weekend in dual meets at Penn State and at Navy. Homza scored no less than 303.00 points in any event and won by an average of 45 points.

The Tech men dropped a narrow decision at Penn State in Friday’s season-opener but bounced back for a decisive win at Navy on Saturday.

The Yellow Jacket men and women are back in action next weekend at home, welcoming Notre Dame (women only) and South Carolina on Friday (4 p.m.) and Georgia Southern (women only) and Pittsburgh on Saturday (11 a.m.).
