THE FLATS – Georgia Tech football has set the specialty dates for its 2018 schedule, Georgia Tech athletics announced on Tuesday.
The promotional schedule is highlighted by Tech’s annual Hall of Fame Day (Sept. 22 vs. Clemson), Homecoming weekend (Oct. 13 vs. Duke) and Whiteout game (Nov. 10 vs. Miami).
Other specialty dates include the Charitable Children’s ticket drive (Sept. 1 vs. Alcorn State), Family Weekend and Heroes Day – a salute to service men and women, first responders and hospital personnel – (Sept. 29 vs. Bowling Green) and the Yellow Jackets’ annual Senior Day and Michael Isenhour Toy Drive (Nov. 17 vs. Virginia).
Details on events surrounding each of the specialty dates will be announced in the coming months.
2018 Georgia Tech football season tickets go on sale on THURSDAY (Feb. 22). In addition to being guaranteed the best seats for all six home games at Bobby Dodd Stadium this season, season-ticket holders will receive a long list of exclusive benefits. Season-ticket holder benefits include discounts on concessions, a limited-edition adidas shirt for each ticket purchased and a special Georgia Tech water bottle that can be brought into the stadium and refilled at new water-bottle filling stations.
