Murton added a solo home run in the fifth inning and Owings hit a solo shot in the seventh to make the score 8-0. The Yellow Jackets added two more runs in the seventh on a two-run single from Cameron Lane, pushing the lead to 10-0.

The alumni team broke up the shutout with a RBI single from Wes Rynders in the top of the ninth inning. A RBI double from Mike Trapani in the bottom of the ninth inning provided the final 11-1 margin.
