Women's Tennis Improve to 6-5 With Win Over Houston

ATLANTA, Ga. (March 14) – The Georgia Tech women’s tennis team defeated University of Houston, 6-1, March 14 at the Bill Moore Tennis Center.

The Yellow Jackets (6-5) spit doubles to claim the first point of the day and won five singles matches en route to their sixth victory of the year. Bobbi Guthrie, Mason Miller, Mysti Morris and Fallon Koon each turned in winning singles efforts. In number one singles, Debbie Reynolds took Sarah Borwell into three sets edging out the victory, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

Georgia Tech returns to action this weekend with two ACC match-ups. First, the Jackets play host to Wake Forest on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Then, on Sunday, Tech will host NC State at 11:00 a.m. Both events with take place at Bill Moore Tennis Center.
