THE FLATS – Chris Bolden has been suspended six games from Georgia Tech’s basketball team for violating the Athletic Association’s student-athlete conduct policy, head coach Brian Gregory announced Thursday.
The suspension includes last Monday night’s victory over Clemson, the remainder of the regular season and the Yellow Jackets’ first game of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament.
The 6-3 junior from Tifton, Ga., has been Tech’s fourth-leading scorer this season at 6.9 points per game. He played in the Yellow Jackets’ first 26 games, starting 11, before sitting out Monday’s win over Clemson.
