2016 (Junior): Team co-captain with Jonathan King … Played in 41 games, making 38 starts — 35 of which came behind plate … Batted .248 with five doubles, four home runs and 19 RBI … Threw out 12 baserunners with .478 caught-stealing percentage … Went 2-for-4 with homer and two RBI against VCU on Feb. 21 … Had five two-hit outings in eight-game span … Was 2-for-4 with double and homer run against Virginia Tech on March 18 … Enjoyed five-game hit streak from April 8-22, ending with 2-for-4 effort and two RBI in road loss at Clemson on April 22 … Went 3-for-4 with double and three RBI in 12-1 series opening win over Miami on May 7 … Tied career high three days later with 3-for-3 showing vs. Savannah State on May 10 … Hit two-run bomb in Sunday finale win at Virginia on May 15.

2015 (Sophomore): Among the nation’s best defensive catchers… Led the ACC in runners caught stealing (25) and caught-stealing percentage (.445), which was among the nation’s top 10 in both categories… His 25 runners thrown out were the most by a Yellow Jacket since current Baltimore Orioles’ catcher Matt Wieters had 22 in 2007… Spent much of the season on the Watch List for the Johnny Bench Award… Started 39 games and hit .239 with nine doubles, a home run, 18 RBI and 17 runs… Went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double in Tech’s season-opening victory against St. John’s on 2/13… Drove in five runs and pounded three extra-base hits in two games during the Baseball at the Beach weekend including a walk-off three-run home run to down Albany, 9-8, on 2/22… Recorded his fourth multi-hit game with a pair of singles against Notre Dame on 3/8… Smoked a game-tying RBI double off the wall in left on 3/24 vs. Auburn to trigger Tech’s rally in a 4-1 win over the Tigers… Registered his third straight multi-hit effort with a 2-for-4 night in Athens including a pair of RBI in the 13-6 victory over No. 21 Georgia… Extended his hitting streak to eight games with his ninth two-hit game of the season, going 2-for-3 with a double in the win over Mercer on 4/7… Missed time late in the season with a nagging hand injury… Delivered a game-winning two-run single to cap Tech’s five-run ninth inning comeback against Mercer on 5/6 to sweep the season series with a 9-7 victory.

2014 (True Freshman): Appeared in 44 games and made 38 starts (all at catcher) for the Yellow Jackets as a rookie… Hit .217 with three doubles, a triple, a home run and 17 RBI… Hit .219 in 20 ACC starts with 10 RBI… Rock solid defensively, he threw out 16 of 39 potential base-stealers, which was the second-most in the ACC and his caught-stealing percentage of .410 was also second-best in the league… Was Tech’s opening-day starter at catcher and delivered an RBI triple off the left-field wall in first career at-bat… Came up with a big, two-out RBI single late in the Sunday win over Bowling Green as the Jackets’ tacked on insurance in the 8-5 win… Had an RBI single and scored Tech’s go-ahead run in the 7-5 win over Western Carolina on 3/11… Had a 10th-inning single versus Miami that moved Keenan Innis into scoring position as the eventual winning run as the Jackets walked off with a 3-2 win to claim the series… Drew a bases-loaded walk that gave Tech the lead for good as it rallied to beat Duke, 7-4, on 4/4 in the opener of the series… Recorded his first career two-hit game with a 2-for-4 effort versus Savannah State on 4/9… Hit his first career home run at Maryland — a three-run shot to left — and finished the Sunday game with a career-best four RBI as the Jackets won 13-6 in 12 innings… At Maryland, he threw out ACC stolen-base leader Charlie White, who had been 19 for 19 before that caught stealing… Had three hits, three RBI and three runs over two starts in the Virginia Tech series win… Was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in the win over No. 16 Miami at the ACC tournament.
