2015-16
Spring: 
Battled injuries during the spring … Had a 2-4 record singles during the spring of 2016 … was 1-2 in singles dual matches, all at the No. 6 spot … Did not compete in a singles match between Feb. 14 and April 1 … Earned the match-clinching point against Olivia Thaler of No. 46 William and Mary with a 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) win … Had an 8-13 record in doubles, pairing with Alexa Anton-Ohlmeyer and Natasha Prokhnevska.

Fall: Tallied a 6-3 singles record and 1-2 doubles record during the fall tournament season … Won two singles matches and doubles match at the Miami Invitational … After being eliminated from the singles main draw at the USTA/ITA Southeast Regionals, advanced to the consolation bracket finals before falling 2-6, 7-5, 0-1 (9-11) to Maryna Veksler of Florida International … She won four-straight matches to make it to the finals … Played alongside Alexa Anton-Ohlmeyer during doubles in the fall.

2014-15
Spring: Named captain prior to the 2014-15 season… Went 11-5 in singles and 5-6 in doubles during the dual match season … Played on courts four through six, going 5-3 on court five and 4-1 on court six … Clinched two huge wins for the Jackets… Against Florida State in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament, battled it out with Daniela Schippers to win a three-set thriller, 6-2, 3-6, 7-5, to clinch the 4-3 Georgia Tech victory and send the Jackets to the championship match … Two matches later, came up clutch again, this time clinching a 4-3 victory for the Yellow Jackets in the first round of the NCAA Tournament with a 3-6-, 7-6 (8-6), 7-5 win against Abby Stevens of Wichita State … Was undefeated in conference doubles matches, going 4-0 … Played mostly alongside junior Alexa Anton-Ohlmeyer in doubles on court two … The duo went 3-5 in dual matches and 3-0 in conference play.

Fall: Missed the fall recovering from an injury.

2013-14
Spring: Named 2014 ITA All-American in doubles … Honored as a member of the All-ACC Second Team … Went 16-10 in singles and 27-11 in doubles in 2013-14 … During the dual match season went 12-7 in singles 13-7 in doubles … Tallied a 9-4 ACC singles record while going 4-2 on court two … Worked her way up from court four to court two throughout the season … Paired up with Kendal Woodard at the number one doubles position going 27-10 overall, 13-6 in dual matches and 10-9 against nationally ranked opponents … Kurey and Woodard debuted at #4 in the ITA Doubles Rankings and climbed as high as #1 on February 11 … Kurey and Woodard were selected as the number six-seed in the 2014 NCAA doubles championships.

Clinched a team-high five matches for the Jackets … Defeated Daniela Schippers on court four, 6-3, 7-5, to secure Tech’s 5-2 win against Florida State … Her win against Wake Forest’s Samantha Asch on court three, 6-2, 7-5, clinched Tech’s win … Also defeated Welma Luus on court four, 6-2, 6-2, at Maryland to secure Tech’s victory … Her 6-2, 6-2 win on court three against Nicole Martinez clinched the win against N.C. State Won 6-2, 6-1 on court two against Isel Martinez-Markcos to lcinch the win against Virginia Tech … Defeated #102 Ashleigh Antal of Vanderbilt in the ITA Kickoff weekend, 6-2, 6-1 … Kurey and Woodard defeated three nationally ranked doubles team during the dual match season … The duo took down Vanderbilt’s #28 Ashleigh Antal and Syndey Campbell, 6-3, during the ITA Kickoff Weekend finals … At #22 Notre Dame, Kurey and Woodard won 8-5 against #27 Quinn Gleason and Britney Sanders … During the NCAA Tournament against #39 Purdue, Kurey and Woodard defeated #72 Mara Schmidt and Andjela Djokovic, 8-5 … Fell to #27 Sofie Oyen and Belinda Woolcock, 6-0, 6-3, in the first round of the NCAA Doubles Championship.

Fall:Won the 2013 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Doubles Championship alongside doubles partner Kendal Woodard … Woodard and Kurey defeated #58 Julia Fellerhoff and Rebecca Shine of Louisville, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 for the national title … The #26-ranked duo also captured the 2013 USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Doubles title by defeating #50 Herring and Kowase of Georgia, 8-2 … Overall, Woodard and Kurey went 14-4 in the fall … The pairing went 7-3 against ranked opponents which included wins against #2 Kate Fuller and Silvia Garcia of Georgia, and #4 Hermon Brhane and Whitney Ritchie of Oklahoma … Kurey and Woodard also competed in the 2013 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships in the beginning of October in which they were the runner-ups in the doubles consolation draw … Went 4-3 in singles play during the fall … Defeated #46 Daneika Borthwoick, 6-7, 6-4, 6-1 of Florida State at the ITA/USTA Southeast Regional.

Summer: Teamed up with doubles partner Megan Kurey in the summer to win the doubles title at the 2013 ITA National Collegiate Summer Circuit Championships at Indiana University … The championship win gave the duo an automatic bid into the doubles main draw of the ITA Women’s All-American Championships at the end of September.

2012-13: Finished the season with a 20-16 overall singles record and a 12-11 mark in singles action playing at the No. 3 and 4 positions … Her 20 wins were the second-most on the team … Recorded an overall 24-9 record in doubles while going 20-3 in dual matches … Went 14-3 at the No. 1 spot and 6-0 at the No. 2 position with doubles partner Kendal Woodard … The pair finished the season ranked at #60 and was as high as #56 on April 23 … Defeated one nationally ranked player in singles action and two ranked opponents in doubles … Recorded a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 win against #72 Francesca Segarelli of Florida State … Along with partner Woodard, defeated #43 Stephanie Wagner and Lina Lileikite of Miami, 8-5, and #85 Erin Vierra and Stephanie Nauta, 8-6 … Clinched a total of four matches for the Yellow Jackets, including three against ranked teams … Defeated Olga Gaistruck of Maryland, 6-1, 6-1, on court four to secure the GT victory in the first round of the ACC Tournament.

High School/Juniors: Ranked No. 33 nationally and No. 4 in the State of Georgia by TennisRecruiting.net… Played No. 2 singles as a freshman and sophomore at Centennial under Coach Chandler Deas… Played No. 1 singles as a junior and senior at Centennial under Coach Linda Jones…Was captain for one year… Did not lose a singles match in four years… Helped Centennial reach team state championship match in 2009 and 2010… Earned the Coaches’ Award in 2009 and Team MVP in 2011… Outside of athletics, was a member of the honor roll, was a student council representative and FCA leader.

Personal:Born Sept. 27, 1993 in Lawrenceville, Ga… Parents are Ray and LeAnn Kurey… Has two siblings, a sister Emily and brother Joseph… Father played tennis at West Virginia from 1984-88 and grandfather, Joseph Kurey, played tennis at Bethany College… Chose Georgia Tech because of the great education, the tennis program and the proximity to home… Started playing tennis at about age seven with her father… Plans to major in management.
