Gave Tech a rock-solid presence at the bottom of the order this spring, going 11-5 between the No. 5 and 6 positions, 17-9 overall in dual matches … Went 1-2 in the ACC Tournament, getting a win over Notre Dame … Went 7-3 with Nathan Rakitt at No. 3 doubles, 18-13 overall in doubles.

2014 Summer Highlights: Won the singles title as the No. 6 seed at the ITA Summer Circuit event in Tallahassee, Fla. … Won the championship after defeating Florida State’s Grayson Goldin, the tournament’s No. 2 seed, 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (10-6) in the finals … Never lost a set until the finals.

2013-14 (Freshman): Match-by-Match

Enjoyed a fine freshman campaign, winning his first six dual matches at the No. 5 singles position before injuries forced him to move up … Went 5-3 at No. 4, 1-3 at No. 3, and 12-6 combined in dual matches … Went 20-14 overall in singles, tying for the team lead in singles wins … Biggest win was a straight-set triumph over 45th-ranked Adam Lee of Wake Forest … Went 4-5 in ACC doubles matches, 10-10 overall when partnered with Nathan Rakitt … Highlight in doubles play was his 8-4 victory with Nathan Rakitt over Georgia’s No. 2-ranked combo of Hernus Pieters and Ben Wagland at the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional … Also earned a doubles victory with Rakitt over Florida’s 60th ranked Florent Diep and Michael Alford, and against NC State’s Sean Weber and Nick Horton, also ranked 60th at the time.
