SS Derek Dietrich (.217) went 0-for-6 with two walks and fourstrikeouts. RHP Jacob Esch was the winning pitcher as Madison beat Waterloo6-5. His line: (W,3-1) 7 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 6 SO, 1 WP, 1HBP. DH Patrick Long (.308) went 1-for-6 including a strikeout. 1BTony Plagman (.206) was 1-for-5. RHP Mark Pope worked in long relief. His line: 4.1 IP, 3 H,1 R,1 ER, 1 BB, 5 SO. CF Jeff Rowland (.240) went 1-for-5 including threestrikeouts. PH/3B Matt Skole (.195) was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk.
