Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field is undergoing a transformative renovation project ahead of the 2027 season that will greatly enhance the gameday experience for our student-athletes, fans and the entire Georgia Tech community, while also ensuring that our historic home will continue to serve generations of Yellow Jackets to come.
The renovation of Bobby Dodd Stadium will require a full reseating process. While many of our peers reseat their stadiums on a regularly scheduled basis, this will be the first reseat at Bobby Dodd Stadium since the completion of the last major renovation in 2003. This renovation will include the addition of 12,500 chairback seats, the widening of aisles, the installation of handrails and a full overhaul of premium areas, which will affect the stadium’s seating manifest. All season ticket members (with the very limited exceptions of those located in the Renasant Deck, Genesis Goal Line Club or ADA seating areas) will be a part of the reseating process.
While the original design for the upcoming stadium renovation included reducing stadium capacity to approximately 42,000 seats, the new design will keep capacity at approximately 50,000 seats. Therefore, most season ticket members will have the ability to remain in or near their current seats in this reseating process.
In addition, 2027 season tickets prices and TECH Fund commitments for all bowl seating areas (non-premium) will not increase from 2026. The 2027 schedule includes Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate versus Georgia being played at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
We know that reseating may bring some uncertainty and questions, and we are committed to transparency and helping each season ticket member through the process.
Step-by-Step Reseating Process
Step 1: Commit to Your 2027 Season Tickets
This fall, 2026 football season ticket members will be asked to commit to 2027 season tickets at the newly renovated Bobby Dodd Stadium. It will be a quick and easy process that can be completed by logging into your Georgia Tech athletics ticket account and simply paying the base price of $250 per season ticket. Season ticket commitments will be accepted beginning in the fall of 2026 through Dec. 31, 2026. Payments can be spread over a three-month period. Associated TECH Fund contributions are not required at the time of your commitment but can be paid in advance if you choose to do so in order to receive A-T Fund Priority Points ahead of a Priority Points rankings freeze on Dec. 31, 2026.
Step 2: Consider Opportunities to Boost Your A-T Fund Priority Points
Consider making an advancement on your TECH Fund contribution for 2027, gifts to the Full Steam Ahead initiative and/or Athletics Scholarship Fund and purchasing tickets for other Georgia Tech sports this fall. These commitments will increase your A-T Fund Priority Points before Priority Points rankings freeze on Dec. 31, 2026.
Step 3: Review Your A-T Fund Priority Points
In December, before A-T Fund Priority Points rankings are frozen for the purposes of reseating, please log into the Georgia Tech Donor Portal to make sure that your information and giving history are accurate. Click HERE to login to the Donor Portal.
Step 4: Receive Your Assigned Seat Selection Time
In late January 2027, all season ticket members that committed to 2027 season tickets will receive an assigned date and time to select their seats. The personalized dates and times will be based on A-T Fund Priority Points rankings as of Dec. 31, 2026.
Step 5: Select Your Seats
At your assigned date and time in February 2027, you will be able to review available seat inventory online and select your seats!
