June 7, 2013

Friday also marked the first time Yellow Jacket players were drafted with consecutive picks. In 1994’s first round, Nomar Garciaparra (12th overall) and Jason Varitek (14th overall) were separated by one pick.

He is one of 10 finalists for the 2013 Senior CLASS Award and is a two-time Academic All-America pick.
