Matthew LaFoy joined the Georgia Tech Athletic Association in October 2005 as a horticulturist assistant.
As part of his role at GT, he serves as the grounds manager for the Noonan Golf Facility.
LaFoy graduated from Clemson in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in turfgrass management.
He loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time with his wife, Cheryl, who worked as an assistant director of sports information and the director of event operations at Georgia Tech, and their two red-headed boys.
