Softball Competes in Camel Stampede

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech softball travels to Buies Creek, N.C. to compete in the Camel Stampede, Friday-Sunday, Feb. 23-25 hosted by Campbell University. The Jackets posted their first wins of the season over Indiana last weekend as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Friday, Feb 23
10 a.m. – Georgia Tech vs. Fairfield
3 p.m. – Georgia Tech at Campbell

Saturday, Feb. 24
10 a.m. – Georgia Tech vs. Fairfield
12:30 p.m. – Georgia Tech vs. La Salle

Sunday, Feb. 25
1:30 p.m. – Georgia Tech at Campbell

Opponent information
The Yellow Jackets face two opponents for the first time ever this weekend in Fairfield and La Salle. Fairfield comes into the weekend with a 1-4 record while La Salle plays its first games of the 2018 season. Tech takes on the Stags twice, Friday at 10 a.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m. The Jackets face the Explorers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The White and Gold faces host Campbell twice, Friday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. The Fighting Camels hold a 5-5 record, including wins over San Diego and CSU Bakersfield.
