Georgia Tech right fielder Jason Basil will stop by Ramblinwreck.com at 12:15 p.m. ET Thursday to talk about opening round action of the NCAA Baseball Tournament this weekend.

Basil has seen playing time at all three outfield positions as well as catcher and third base for the Yellow Jackets this season. He was named to the All-ACC second-team as an outfielder, which marked the third straight season he has been an All-ACC pick. The senior from West Chester, Ohio was an All-Tournament pick last weekend at the 28th Annual ACC Tournament.

Basil ranks among the top-five in Georgia Tech history in games played, hits, doubles, RBIs and total bases.

Georgia Tech (41-18) begins a back yard war so to speak this weekend as NCAA play begins. The Yellow Jackets open the tournament against Coastal Carolina, but could meet host Georgia and/or Georgia Southern during the regional in Athens.
