Jackets Open Outdoor Season at Alabama Relays

THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech track and field team travels to Tuscaloosa to open the outdoor portion of its 2015 schedule. The Jackets compete in one event Thursday with the majority of events Friday and Saturday at Alabama’s Sam Bailey Track.

Action begins Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET with Maya Barroso, Julia Frederick and Ashleigh Uhl in the javelin. Friday’s competition begins at 6 p.m. ET with the women’s triple jump and 4×200-meter relays, and Saturday starts at 2 p.m. ET with the women’s pole vault.

Fifty-seven Yellow Jackets are slated to compete in 34 events. Fans can watch action on Friday on WatchESPN/SEC Network+ from 6-10 p.m. ET and on Saturday, 3-7 p.m. ET.
