Atlanta – The Yellow Jackets announced the signing of another top-notch recruit Monday, when they received a National Letter of Intent from Flint, Mich. standout Simone Trice, rounding out an eighth-ranked recruiting class.

Trice, a five-foot-eleven wing forward, ranks 22nd nationally at her position and is among the country’s top 150 high school seniors overall. She is currently second in her hometown in scoring, averaging 19.1 PPG and 15.6 RPG for her senior season at Flint Northwestern Academy, and has scored over a 1000 points and rebounds for her career. She is a nominee for Michigan’s Miss Basketball and was named All-State in her junior and sophomore seasons. Trice is quick, strong and able to play at every position, fitting in well with a class full of speed, strength and versatility.
