Georgia Tech Student Football Tickets On Sale

April 1, 2013

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech Athletics rolled out sales of 2013 student football season tickets today, encouraging current and incoming students to purchase early in order to guarantee admission to all seven home games in the fall.

The 2013 schedule includes games against rival Georgia, ACC Coastal Division rivals Virginia Tech and North Carolina, and ACC newcomers Pittsburgh and Syracuse.

The early on-sale date marks the first time students can purchase season tickets before summer break, allowing them to avoid the annual rush when classes resume in August.

Student football season tickets cost $49, a rate of $7 per game. Tickets are on sale to upper-classmen with at least 90 credit hours on Monday. Students who have completed 60-plus hours can get tickets on Wednesday, and those with 30-plus hours on Friday. Freshmen can purchase tickets on April 8.

The following registration schedule will be followed (registration opens at 8:00 a.m. for each section):

Hours Earned — Online Registration Begins
90+ — Monday, April 1st
60+ — Wednesday, April 3rd
30+ — Friday, April 5th
Freshmen — Monday, April 8th

Georgia Tech students can purchase season tickets online at www.ramblinwreck.com/students. Anyone with questions can e-mail studenttickets@athletics.gatech.edu or call 888.TECH.TIX.

For Georgia Tech students who have graduated since December, 2011, or will be graduating in May or August of this year, a special season ticket price is available to these new alumni for just $160. Those interested in purchasing at the new alumni rate can do so by calling 888.TECH.TIX.

The 2013 season will celebrate Georgia Tech’s 100 years of football on Historic Grant field. A series of events will help celebrate a century of football in one of college football’s most historic venues.

After last year’s Spring Game attracted more than 18,000 fans, Georgia Tech will play its annual spring game again this season on April 19 as a part of “Friday Night of the Flats.” Spring Game festivities will kick-off at 3:00 p.m. as Georgia Tech baseball faces NC State at Russ Chandler Stadium (special price of only $4 per person – free admission for Georgia Tech students). A pre-game concert during WreckFest on Techwood Avenue will begin at 5:30 p.m. featuring Georgia’s own Southside of the Tracks. Kickoff for the Spring Game will be at 7:30 p.m., immediately followed by fireworks (courtesy of Atlantic Station) over Bobby Dodd Stadium and an encore concert performance. Admission to the Spring Game is free.
