NCAA Zone B Diving Championships Information

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech is set to host the 2010 NCAA Zone B Diving Championships March 12-14 at the Aquatic Center on campus. In all, 71 divers from 14 different universities will compete at the meet this weekend to try to qualify for the NCAA Championships.

Three Georgia Tech divers will compete this weekend. Freshman Chris Khosravi and Brandon Makinson will represent the Yellow Jacket men’s squad, while senior Hannah Krimm will compete for the last time in her illustrious career at the Aquatic Center.

Khosravi and Makinson will be competing in the one and three meter springboard, along with the platform dive, while Krimm will take part in the one and three meter springboard dives. Krimm is looking to improve on an eighth place finish at last year’s Zone-Diving meet in the three-meter and an 11th place finish in the one-meter.

Action gets underway at the Aquatic Center tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. with the prelimiaries of the women’s one-meter springboard. Action also starts on Saturday at 11 a.m. and concludes on Sunday beginning at 10 a.m.
