*Blue Streak: With the win, the Blue Devils extend their streak in the all-time series to 31 straight games dating back to 1994. Duke also improved to 4-0 against the Jackets in ACC Tournament play.

*A Tale of Two Halves: Duke’s Jasmine Thomas played just 13 minutes in the first half after getting into foul trouble early. She scored all of her points in the second half, finishing with 10 pts and three steals.

*Seeing Double: Despite running into foul trouble, Georgia Tech’s Alex Montgomery paced the Jackets’ offense. She posted her third double-double of the season, scoring 19 points and grabbing 12 boards.

*Tenacious D: Duke’s defense scored 24 points off of 26 Georgia Tech turnovers. The squad also recorded 14 steals. The Blue Devils’ scoring defense leads the conference at 53.9 points per contest.

*Tech Tournament Buzz: This is the first semifinal appearance in the ACC Tournament for the Yellow Jackets under head coach MaChelle Joseph. Joseph has guided the squad to a 4-7 ledger in ACC Tournament contests.

*Strong Support: The Blue Devils’ bench contributed 19 points to lift the squad to victory. Senior Bridgette Mitchell registered nine points and four boards in the win.

*Swarming the Glass: The Yellow Jackets dominated the glass in the loss, outrebounding Duke by a 38-28 margin. Alex Montgomery led Tech on the boards, tallying 12 in the contest.

*This Season’s Matchup: Duke junior Jasmine Thomas scored 20 points to lead Duke to a 64-50 win in Atlanta on Feb. 19. The Blue Devils shot 54 percent from the floor in the second half and went on a late 14-2 run to seal the victory.

*ACC Tournament History: Today’s contest marks the third meeting between the two teams in ACC Tournament action, with Duke claiming the win in all three contests. In 2003, the Blue Devils earned a 76-52 victory in the semifinals and went on to capture the tournament title.
