Georgia Tech-Clemson Game Sells Out

Jan. 22, 2018

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech’s Atlantic Coast Conference game against No. 18-ranked Clemson has sold out, the third game to sell out for the Yellow Jackets this season, matching last year’s total. Tech’s game against the Tigers is set for Sunday evening at McCamish Pavilion with tipoff at 6 p.m.

Purchase tickets to remaining games

Tech’s game against Virginia last Thursday night was a sellout, and tickets have sold out already for the Jackets’ Feb. 11 game with No. 4 Duke. The Feb. 17 game against Virginia Tech has only a limited number of tickets left for sale and is expect to also sell out.

The most sellouts in a season for Tech since McCamish Pavilion opened is four in 2011-12, the Yellow Jackets’ first season in the building. Tech’s last sellouts in back-to-back home games occurred in the 2007-08 season, when all 13 home games sold out at Alexander Memorial Coliseum.

The Tigers are currently tied for third place in the ACC with a 5-2 record and are 16-4 overall. Tech has won its last three home meetings with Clemson.

“Our fans and our students continue to give our team a tremendous lift at home,” said head coach Josh Pastner. “We are extremely grateful for the support.”

Single-game tickets are still available for the rest of Tech’s remaining home games, each game featuring a popular promotion.
